International students must meet the full cost of their tuition fees. You are not eligible to be subsidised by the British Government through Student Support.
There are a number of ways in which you can pay your tuition fees:
During recent years it has become increasingly difficult to secure funds from educational trusts and charities since fewer people are donating to them. The process is time consuming and money cannot be obtained easily or quickly.
If you cannot pay your fees due to a temporary disruption of funds, it is important to contact Finance or the Student Information Centre as soon as possible to try and find a solution.
DO NOT IGNORE FEE DEMANDS or wait until you have worked yourself into a panic.
You can also speak to your personal tutor or can contact the Students' Union and we will help you.
If you are an EU national (or child of an EU national) and are studying in England, you may be entitled to a Tuition Fee Loan from the Student Loan Company just like UK students. If you are an EU student and are applying through UCAS they will send you an application form automatically when you are offered a place. If you do not apply through UCAS, you will be able to get an application form and further information from the EU Team. You can contact the EU Team on 01412433570 (10am - 4pm), by visiting www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/UniversityAndHigherEducation/StudentFinance you can email them at EU_Team@slc.co.uk
Please note: applications will need to be made for each academic year
