British Universities Sports Association (BUSA)
BUSA provides inter university sport for nearly one hundred and fifty universities, who have student population in excess of 1.5 million. Nearly eighty thousand students will take part in BUSA events this year. BUSA have over five hundred leagues in their winter sports programme, involving 3500 teams. BUSA offer 45 sports, with over 200 different disciplines and involving nearly five hundred different finals each year.
For the purpose of political representation, Universities are grouped geographically, as determined by BUSA General Council. The University of Bolton plays in the Northern Conference League (North West Division).
