The Men's Hockey Club is one of the most active teams in the Union.
The aim of the Hockey Club is to allow students to play hockey and develop their skills whatever their abilities.
Last year was one of our best years. We came top of the Northern Conference BUSA 6A League and will be promoted for the season 2007-08. So we are on the look out for more players! We were also voted the Students' Union 'Most Improved Team of the Year' at the Annual Sports Dinner.
We train on Thursdays and relax afterwards with a drink at the SU Venue Café Bar.
You don't need any hockey experience, or even sporting experience. We are a club that recruits anyone who wants to take part.
We have training sessions taken by a qualified coach and play in the British Universities Sports Association League (BUSA).
So, why not come and join the hockey team and experience university life to its full.
