Snowsports
The Snowsports club is an established club and is open to all students.
We offer lessons for snowboarding or skiing, regular trips to Rossendale dry slope, socials and fantastic, affordable holidays in the Christmas break.
New at the Trafford Park Shopping Centre is the Chill Factor, a covered real snow slope.
We welcome beginners and advanced snowboarders and skiers. Whatever level you are you can fit in with our trips to the slopes.
We offer beginners lessons at a cheap student rate and the more experienced students can tear up and down the slopes. We aim to make the lessons available for all students, meaning the lessons will take place on a weekday evening.
We meet at the Students' Union, and go to the slopes at Rossendale have our lesson then return to the Students' Union for a few drinks and a laugh together.
It's a great way to get involved in a sport that is unusual to an urban area and the holidays we offer are amazing experiences that are NOT to be missed.
