Hello Everyone!
My name is Helen Grailey and I am your new Student Representation Co-ordinator.
Before starting my role here (6th August 2007) I had previously worked for Bolton At Home, the management organisation for the Councils housing stock. I was a Customer Involvement Officer and engaged with customers in their communities in various ways to encourage their involvement in the services they receive.
I am a firm believer that for any organisation to develop and improve it MUST listen to its customers, and for the University it's customers are yourselves the students.
My role at the University is :
To ensure that ALL students are able to have full input in improving and developing the quality of their overall education experience.
To lead and co-ordinate an effective Student Representative System that enables student representatives to have full input into the academic decision making processes of the University of Bolton.
To ensure that the Course Representatives receive appropriate training, support and development to carry out their roles effectively.
