NUS EXTRA CARD
The University of Bolton Students' Union is a member of the National Union of Students (NUS). Therefore, as a student at the University of Bolton you are entitled to apply for an NUS EXTRA Card. This is the only recognised form of identification, which proves you are a student.
What is NUS Extra?

And not just in the UK either; your Extra card doubles as an International Student Identity Card, so you can use it to get special offers and discounts when you’re travelling abroad as well in over 100 countries.

Two cards for the price of one
Your NUS Extra incorporates the International Student Identity Card which means that ‘Extra’ can now be used both at home and abroad. How do I get my NUS Extra card?
We'll be signing students up for the card from Monday 19th September at the Students' Union Reception
Make sure you
1. Enrol at the University.
2. Come to the Students' Union Building
4. Take a photograph on our webcam.
5. Enter your credit/debit card details on our secure server, or pay £10 cash.
6. Your premium plastic card will arrive at your home address or the Students' Union in 10 days.

How else can I use my NUS Extra Card?
Many students' use the NUS Extra Card as a way of identifying themselves. In some places you will need the Card to be able to use the Union's facilities.
Are part-time students eligible for an NUS Extra Card?
NUS Extra Cards are available to part-time students studying at the University of Bolton.
Am I eligible for an NUS Card while on a placement or studying off-campus?
As long as you are still enrolled as a student at The University of Bolton, you are eligible for a NUS Extra Card. You will need to ask the Students' Union for a card (in person).
